BRALO continues to strengthen its commitment to a more sustainable industry by obtaining certification of its Carbon Footprint for Scopes 1 and 2 for the 2025 reporting period.
BRALO, S.A. has obtained certification of its Carbon Footprint in accordance with the requirements of the GHG Protocol, following verification by Cámara Certifica at its facilities in Pinto (Madrid).
The calculation covers the period from 1 January to 31 December 2025 and includes the company’s Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. The certified result establishes total emissions of 757.45 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent (tCO₂e).
This represents a reduction in emissions compared with the previous year. In 2025, BRALO achieved a reduction of 88.99 tCO₂e, equivalent to 10.5% lower emissions compared with 2024.
This process marks another step forward in BRALO’s strategy to understand, measure and manage the environmental impact associated with its manufacturing operations, including the production of blind rivets, rivet nuts and metal fastening systems, as covered by the certification.
Measuring to move forward
Carbon Footprint certification provides BRALO with a quantified reference for its emissions and establishes a basis for identifying opportunities for improvement and continuing to optimise its production processes.
As part of this commitment, BRALO has implemented various initiatives aimed at reducing its environmental impact. One of the most significant is the installation of solar panels on the roof of its facilities, enabling the company to generate and self-consume renewable energy while helping to reduce the impact associated with electricity consumption.
The certification, issued on 2 September 2026 under certificate number HC.0103.24, represents another step forward in BRALO’s journey towards more efficient manufacturing and continuous improvement.
